Description

Battery charging strategies to ensure the performance of electric buses play a very important role. This is due to the length of time it takes to restore battery power that has been depleted through charging. To overcome this problem, replacing depleted batteries (known as battery swaps) on electric buses is one solution.

Another method developed for electric bus transportation abroad is the fast charging system, where electric buses charge several stops when picking up / dropping off passengers.

Both strategies above continue to be researched and developed to improve the reliability of electric bus operations.
